Dodecanese Police Department responded to our written complaint about a dead horse at Alykes area in Kos island.
As they informed us, Hellenic police identified the owner and in cooperation with the Veterinary Service at the island of Kos, administrative fines were provided for every violation we have indicated that has been committed.
We would like to thank Police Department of Kos for responding to our complaint by locate and punish the guilty one.
The veterinary service has not yet submitted a medical opinion on the causes of death as we have requested, but photos we possess when poor animal was alive, certify that this horse was permanently tied up without any protection and food.
Our attempt to stop their abuse will not stop here
