Sophia got justice.How many more horses are still waiting for someone to stand beside them?

A few days ago, a horse abuse case that IPPOTHESIS fought for reached where it needed to be: a court of law, resulting in the conviction of the person responsible.

Sophia could not speak.But someone had to speak for her.

This is what we have been trying to do for years.

To be there when an equid is abused. To gather evidence, contact the competent authorities, persist when a case is at risk of being lost, demand that the law is enforced and, when necessary, take the case all the way to court.

Sophia's case had a positive outcome. In achieving this victory, we had the invaluable support of our lawyer, Alexandros Kassandrinos, who took on the case and worked without receiving any fee. His contribution reminds us how much can be achieved when people decide to stand beside an animal that cannot defend itself.

But for every case that ends in justice, there are many more that require time, travel, veterinary and scientific support, legal work, formal complaints, continuous follow-up and persistence.

So that we can be there.
